I am attempting to print from my Linux computer to a printer connected to a Windows XP computer. It is over a wireless network, and printing works fine if I use Windows XP, but from debian it does not. I have tried all sorts of tutorials, used the localhost interface, etc...and it says that its printing on my debian comp but the printer does nothing.. I get this error in the log:
E [24/May/2005:21:13:02 -0700] [Job 12] Connection failed with error NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
E [24/May/2005:21:13:02 -0700] [Job 12] Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...File(s) to be printed:
E [24/May/2005:21:13:05 -0700] PID 3670 stopped with status 1!
I [24/May/2005:21:13:05 -0700] Hint: Try setting the LogLevel to "debug" to find out more.
I [24/May/2005:21:13:39 -0700] Job 12 was cancelled by 'root'.
debian:~#
A year or so ago I had a post on how I did this, try to do a search for it. I have the same set-up, but I am not wireless. It took a while to figure it out, but it works.

Well the thing is i've already tried that.. i've got the printer hooked up and everything... it just doesn't work as you can see by the error message. I've got a feeling it might be cups.. cause I tried direct connecting a printer and that didn't work either.. but I didn't try too long on that cause i'd rather have the network work.
Thanks, maybe i'm just missing something about what you did.
