I'm using kubuntu and I often copy files from one folder to another. If I do this in a split screen, dolphin opens a little window that shows the progress and speed. If I use a single screen/window, then the copy process seems to take place in the background (which is really obnoxious imho).
Is there a way to have the copy or move process alway show that little window?
Also is there a way to stop the copy (or move) process once it has started and that little window hasn't popped up?
For those that know the program teracopy in Windows, I'd really like to find something like that that integrates into Dolphin. I know Ultracopier is an option but that doesn't really integrate into Dolphin and it is cumbersome to use.
Any support here is greatly appreciated!
*** As a side note, I just found that the only time the copy dialog box appears is when I have opened dolphin as rood from the terminal. This is what the copy window looks like.
