So I am trying to copy stuff from an emacs window and paste it into a text box in Netscape and it doesn't work. Why is this?Doesn't linux have a global copy-paste clipboard?
The copy-paste works fine within Netscape but try pasting something that you have copied from outside Netscape and it fails. So who is dumb - linux or Netscape?

Middle Click copy/pastes universaly.
