I'm trying to get wine to work on a gnu/debian install. I did apt-get install wine which nicely put all the files where they need to be, but typing "wine sol.exe" (you know good 'ol windows solitaire) gives me this error:
Could not stat /c, ignoring drive C:
Warning: could not find wine.conf [Drive x] entry for current working directory /usr/games; starting in windows directory.
Invalid path 'c:\windows' for windows directory
Perhaps you have not properly edited or created your Wine configuration file.
This is either /etc/wine.conf or $HOME/.winerc
or it is determined by the -config option or from
the WINE_INI environment variable.
Wine has used /etc/wine.conf as configuration file.
I can't find the INI file it references and I can't figure out how/what to edit in the wine.conf file. Can anyone help??
