Configuration Error when running ./configure for gnucash
Hi-
I am running SuSE Personal 9.2 and every time I try to install from a source file I get an error like this.
linux:/home/eric/gnucash-1.8.11 # ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for non-GNU ld... /usr/bin/ld
checking if the linker (/usr/bin/ld) is GNU ld... yes
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
Where do I find a program for gcc and cc? What does this mean? What do I need to install?
I am trying to install gnucash in this example but if I tried to install any other programs from source I get this same error.
Thanks,
Chris
