Cluster question

Is it possible to get a split brain situation in a 3 node cluster? Has anybody personally experienced it or know of anybody that has?

Hi,

Split brain will be possible independent from the number of nodes. I've seen this on several systems. You should check how the cluster software you are using protects itself from such a problem.

We decided to use Oracle's grid cluster software so we no longer have an active/passive configuration to remedy this issue
