i have shared this problem from my colleague....


checked from tail -f /maillog

and shared problem when to start clamav

Try to use freshclam to update the database.

Which distribution are you using?
How did you installed clamav?
Which version are you using?
Did it work before?

using centos 5.3

install with yum----work before this

i used clamav together with Mailscanner+spamassassin+amavis-new

Mailscanner work fine but only clamav are not running

amavis-new work together with clamav for incoming email before transport to mailserver.

email can receive but antivirus scan not running(clamd)

can anyone help me...

i have this problem not solve
