Why cant you use the standard font? Its easier to read than sickly green.....
Google dont want windows users running chromium, they want them using chrome which gives google more information and control (some people have gone so far as to call chrome 'spyware').
There wouldnt be chromium at all, except then google would have to do all their own development, rather than just taking the code from chromium and modifing it. It also 'smoke and mirrors', google get more 'arent they nice for supporting open source' publicity. Not that its true in this case at all.
BTW, there is (or was anyway) SRwareIron and Comodo Dragon for windows, both of which are based on Chromium.
