Lightbulb alternative solution

the below solution worked well for me:

You just have to give the starter the desired path, i.e.
Code:
nemo /path/to/desired/directory
If you want to change the nemo.desktop, first copy it to your home directory
Code:
cp /usr/share/applications/nemo.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/
open it
Code:
xed ~/.local/share/applications/nemo.desktop
search for %U in section [Desktop Action open-home], replace the "%U" after the call with the corresponding path e.g.
Exec=nemo /home/username/desktop

Could you please explain how I create a shortcut to Nemo, so I can try this.

I would also like Nemo to open in a specific directory (Documents) rather than home.

Also is it possible to have multiple shortcuts that open in different default locations?

Thanks!

pcmanfm you can set the default directory to open to in the settings.
I just installed this but I cannot find a setting to do this.

Would you mind pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks!
