CDWriter that automatically converts MP3s to .wav?


One of the last apps that I'm still going back to Windows for is EZ CD Creator. Is there a comparable program available here? Most critically, does cdrecord or any other Linux app automatically convert mp3's to .wav files for regular CD Player use?

Sox does conversion from mp3 to wav files. There are some very good burning scripts search google

dude.. K3b is the best way to go.. it's very similar to nero.. you should have no problem.. it might even be on your distro disk

Thanks. K3b definitely looks like the solution ... haven't actually gotten it to write anything yet because there are some quirks (like it seems not to like apostrophes as part of the filename), but unless appearances are wildly decieiving, this app will fill my needs.

it works better for me than any other windows progam i have ever used to create cds. most things don't like apostrophes though.. so .. that's probably your problem
