Starcraft in Wine froze [had to reset], now CDROM won't mount!
I get
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems
(could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)
I was able to mount until just recently. The drive works correctly, because it still spins up and loads a bootable cdrom. I don't think it is too many mounted devices because I can mount my floppy and have unmounted my XPp partition and it still won't mount. However I was trying to combine some things in /etc/rc.d/rc5.d so that my bootup would be faster. Here is what it looks like:
S10network
S12syslog
S17keytable
S20random
S25netfs
S28autofs
S56xinetd
S59hpoj
S65dhcpd
S66dhcrelay
S85gpm
S90cups
S90xfs
S91smb
S91winbind
S98wine
S99local
Is that the right order? Please recommend any changes.
Oh and some other things that could be helpful:
[ben@kitties ben]$ ls -l /dev/cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Feb 6 00:39 /dev/cdrom -> /dev/hdc
I uninstalled wine and deleted all the extra files under /usr/bin/wine and /usr/lib/wine, but now what?
