[SOLVED] Car keyfobs

Hi guys

I seen an article about pentesting keyfobs and various methods used and was wondering about testing my keyfob.
Is there any software around which i could use?
the article said i would need special software , would backtrack 5 work (after all it is special!).
any responses welcome even if they just point me in the right direction.

I assume you are referring to a car remote door opener. I would say no since backtrack is basically for computer networking systems. Besides the fact you need specialised hardware to receive the signal.
