Hi,
I am not able to save images of web page. I see applet failed to load when I open the web page after download. I see small round square instead of image on that part of web page. When I open any web page, everything is getting loaded (applet, images etc).
I have installed sun jdk1.4.2.
plugins for java is perfectly woking for konqueror amd mozilla.

What application do you use to view the images you save? It may be that you need to inform the application of the plugin (either java or flash). At least this post will keep your message fresh in this forum.
try reinstalling some of your system gtk* etc. libraries.. you could also try reinstalling mozilla
the problem could also be caused by an upstream proxy..
you havn't provided any of your systems specs so i can't help you any more than that

I am not familiar with upstream proxy. flash player and java pluging working perfectly for konqueror and mozilla. I have reinstalled mozilla few time, but no result.
I am running 2.4.18 kernel (debian woody) with unstable packages.
