Cant make zoneminder works...

I already make two (ill instal in future 4) of my cams works on xawtv!

But:

1) in xawtv one cam is working colored (composite 1), but another is black-white (svideo)...why?

2) Still dont understanding how make zoneminder works...

Some clue?

i made some progress:

I fix the sysctl.conf memory thing...

Buit now, when i click on the monitor, appear a black screen with "stop" status and 0 fps...

Some clue now?

I am having the same problem! It seems to connect but the screen only shows black.

I am running ZoneMinder on Unbutu 9, and the camera is a Panasonic BL-C30A

Any ideas, I have been looking for a long time. I found this (http://www.zoneminder.com/wiki/index...g_my_camera.3F) but there is no setting link (i think it is for local cams not networked)

Please help

This link offers no solid solution for a network cam -- seems like it is for a CCTV setup with PCI card etc....
