cant get a .jar java file running, cant find firefoxes plugins folder to tach into

im trying to run minecraft.jar which just freezes up at startup screen, wondering if i made a mistake in java

along with that Firefox doesn't have a plugins folder i can find to put java into
heres the files it has
application.ini libfreebl3.so libxul.so
blocklist.xml libmozalloc.so Link to firefox
chrome libmozsqlite3.so mozilla-xremote-client
chrome.manifest libnspr4.so omni.jar
components libnss3.so platform.ini
crashreporter libnssckbi.so plugin-container
crashreporter.ini libnssdbm3.chk README.txt
crashreporter-override.ini libnssdbm3.so removed-files
defaults libnssutil3.so run-mozilla.sh
dependentlibs.list libplc4.so searchplugins
dictionaries libplds4.so Throbber-small.gif
extensions libsmime3.so update.locale
firefox libsoftokn3.chk updater
firefox-bin libsoftokn3.so updater.ini
icons libssl3.so
libfreebl3.chk libxpcom.so

since im a noobie at linux i would rather have a little guide as to what to do to
get the .jar files running with java
get java attached with firefox

i can understand most command line talk though, i use it a lot on my windows based computers, more or less tell me what to do :/

Try this folder.

/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

Create the symbolic link there to /usr/lib/java/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so

or wherever libnpjp2.so lives in your system.

Good luck. ;-)
