Can you advise how I can open a PowerBI app in Firefox under Linux?

Hi there,

I'm doing a computer-related translation, which occasionally requires me to access this page from Microsoft Language Resources to check for appropriate terms. But I cannot! I assume it fails to open in the browser I use (Firefox v115) because it's powered by PowerBI, a Microsoft Windows product, which somehow doesn't like the Linux system (Pop!_OS) installed on my rig. Cuz I checked it on Chrome/Windows, and it works okay. The funny thing is Microsoft has made the page public without actually notifying the Linux users beforehand, if what I assume is true.

Anyway, does anybody have a clue how I can rectify the situation? Any help is highly appreciated!

Thank you!
Victor

For what it's worth, I visited the page in Firefox v. 115.0.3esr on Slackware --Current and it seemed to open okay after I told NoScript to allow all scripts. I was able to use the "zoom" function in the bottom right of the page to resize the tables larger or smaller and to scroll the contents of the tables.

I say "it seemed to open okay" because I have no previous experience with the page, so there may be some functionality I did not know to test.

Thank you for the suggestion, Frank! Your mentioning of "scripts" did the trick - the problem's on my end, as I'm actually behind a thick privacy protection shield by Arkenfox, which is likely blocking the script necessary for the said PowerBI app to run properly in my browser. The page opens okay after I disable the current Firefox profile, which also contains the .JS files with rules modified by Arkenfox. Now I need to figure out which particular rule blocks the page.

Thank you and Have a nice one!
Victor
