I'm currently running Mandrake 10.0 and use Totem Movie Player and XINE. I have installed the win32 codecs rpm and cannot play this video (not with audio anyway.. just a hissing sound).

I'm considering trying MPlayer but I'm not sure I'll get any different results.

Also, anyone know what I could use to play Windows Media Video 9 movies? I know there have been a couple threads about this but I didn't get much from those so I thought I'd try again.

try mplayer, it works flawlessly for me on a Fedora box for mpegs, avi's and wmv files.

you can also download the win32 codecs from mplayer they seem to be updated regularly compared to the rpms from other sites.
