Camtasia--video capture--PlanetNEO

I tried sending a pm to PlanetNEO as a search of the forum revealed that he too was looking for what I am looking for. I have used Camtasia in the past and loved it, it captures screen in avi/swf format and allows you to make videos.

I have searched freshmeat and google/linux and can't find a single replacement. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I found this little app, http://freshmeat.net/projects/xvidcap/

I havent tried it yet but i hope it works pretty well, will try it in a few days. goodluck.
