Unhappy Calendar client to sync with google calendar offline and online

Hi! Everybody

I need some calendar application to work offline and online with windows and linux so when I have an internet connection be able to sync with google calendar and the opposite way too, is there any? I know that:

gnome-calendar (linux only) can sync, setting up online accounts app, but I read in some sites that there are problems syncing back and forth with google calendar, is that still true?

lightning plug in for thunderbird email client (windows and linux), has a calendar that can sync with it but, I do not like to install an email client on my pc if I always use google's gmail.

Any other apps recomendations? The app should be easy and lite to run for average PC. Thanks for your time and help.

I use Thunderbird with Windows and Linux to access Google calendars…

Edit: my TB is also used to access gmail (and my isp’s mail, and my server’s email)…I also access those same accounts on my iThings…very handy to get to all those things no matter which machine I’m using at the moment.

Hi! scasey and frankbell

Like I said, I do not like thunderbird forcing me to setup email, I use gmail which is webmail, that is the only thing about it.

I usually do not like KDE apps for been big and most of them bugy. I like gtk based apps and xfce comparable on my pc.

Any ideas of some of them? Thanks for your time and help.
