Cajun install problem (mysql issue)

Hi,
I am trying to build an mp3 player for my car. I am using cajun as the software and it uses mysql. I am getting this error message:
Code:
root@mp3player:/usr/share/cajun/install # ./setup-database -c
DBI connect('host=localhost;database=cajun','cajunacct',...) failed: Access denied for user 'cajunacct'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at /usr/share/cajun/lib/CajunUtil.pm line 182
When I try to log into sql as root user, it still doesnt let me!

Code:
root@mp3player:/usr/share/cajun/install # mysql -p
Enter password:
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Could anyone help me out here?

Thanks
