I've downloaded Ayttm IM mensenger RPM today (the most recent at they're web, the sourced one)and installed it with kpakage, but how do i run it?
I've searched the web, read the installation file and faqs, but cant find a solution, to this; can anyone tell me where it is installed,so that i can run it? I've donne "whereis ayttm", but it didn't find it... didn't it installed?
thanks in advance
EDIT::
- In case you may be wondering: when I installed from kpackage, I didn't made "test" only.
- After finnished installing, The Ayttm "N" logo, appears in the rpm "new" list
-running Lycoris Desktop LX 3beta update
yeah, i've done that. it says the program doese not exist. I also tried whereis ayttm, and it doesnt find where it is. I tahought that I've someone could give me the path to the executable, i could run it manualy
I had Red Hat 7.1 Before Lycoris, since a few years ago, and I didn't used RPMs as much as compiling myself. I'm not sure how rpms work. Using Lycoris Software installation serveces, isnt it suposed to install the full program?
oh.. Lycoris! That's the problem.. I see.
I hate all these new "Win" style linux os's, their so messed up, putting their programs where they feel like it instead of where they belong.
Doesnt your menu have a "search" or "find" ? SUse and redhat and madrake have one. You could let it seach from x for it..
