I had Red Hat 7.1 Before Lycoris, since a few years ago, and I didn't used RPMs as much as compiling myself. I'm not sure how rpms work. Using Lycoris Software installation serveces, isnt it suposed to install the full program?

oh.. Lycoris! That's the problem.. I see.
I hate all these new "Win" style linux os's, their so messed up, putting their programs where they feel like it instead of where they belong.

Doesnt your menu have a "search" or "find" ? SUse and redhat and madrake have one. You could let it seach from x for it..
