I have a new
fiesty install on an intel machine. I installed the Boinc manager and , since it is a spare machine, I just let Seti run all the time. Yesterday it broke. Can anyone tell me what this means?

Are you running from the console? The error implies it's trying to connect to the GUI which would imply an x windows based connection. You're not sudo'd to another user are you?

No. I was running it from the GUI. I have been using Linux for 2 years but with no help except these forums, so my command line skills are primitive at best.
