Booting Linux from within windows
Hi,
I need to be able to boot a live disk implementation of linux such as SUSE live or knoppix from within windows. Can this be done without the computer being set to boot from CD? I know that on older linux implementations you could install the Linux OS onto a FAT partition(not a linux partition) and run a command that would make the machine reboot into linux. Is this still possible under the new implementations of linux? Is this command still available on knoppix for example?
Thanks in advance
Craig
