im often on our irc chatroom on dalnet.
now im connecting afther some days whit BitchX and getting the next message

Get another irc client, like Irssi or XChat, and see if the problem still persists...

but why is bitchx standart installed on slackware 12.1
so it should be no trojan at all.
its just console based irc client.

IIGC some servers require your real name, handle etc, etc to have different values and don't dig your handle ending in -teen, -tine and such, so check if you recently changed anything.
