could anybody suggest a nice and easy-to-use integrated tool for shell scripts developing, which offers things like:
- syntax and commands help
- highlighting
- integrated SVN client (this is mandatory for me)
- usual text editor functions
I would like to have it for Windows, but also for RH would be fine.
This may not help for developing convenience but if you're interested in making your scripts modular, you might find this useful: http://sf.net/projects/loader

I found Notepad++ which I've been using for long.
I recently found out a SVN plug-in for it, but still have to try it out.
I'm not sure it has a comprehensive bash commands help, though.
Basically my question comes from someone who's used to IDEs like NetBeans and Eclipse and I was wondering if I could aspire to something similar for shell scripts too...
Honestly,
I found happy symbiosis with mc (midnight commander) and it's built in editor (mcedit or mc -e).
I can't think of a more convenient tool any more:
First thing I enable "lynx like motion" in options and save them. (even in slax I add it to "rootcopy")
Therefrom I can navigate anywhere without letting go the keyboard.
Also mcedit has syntax high-lighting, and is just powerfull enough that I only rarely use vi to copy/paste a thing in the terminal (with our w/o X.org running).
Sadly, on Win, there is hardly a editor worth it's salt, I know of? I loved to like arachnophilia for it's built in code beautifying abilities...

Notepad++ is always a plus. It's the editor I always use, next to Netbeans and V... Anyway you might also be interested to have bash available in win*: Cygwin
Note that bash is a bit less powerful there; but it's could be already enough for testings.
