Back track 3 not recognizing my wireless card (live CD)

Back track 3 not recognizing my wireless card, i am booting form live CD. I know even if i find a fix it will need to be applied every time i boot from the CD but it is still something i am in need of. Once I find a fix I will make a live flash boot drive for BT3 and apply the requisite fix. I have a belkin G and N1 card, although the ubuntu does not seem to recognize the N1 so i am currently using the wireless G card. any idea why 8.04 would not see the N1?
