Hi all,

I have mounted a windows NTFS drive into my FC6 box and I can read and write to the mounted directory from Linux. Permission has been set to write for all. When I try to download files via Azureus to this directory, however, it errors out. The message is -

Error: /mnt/<my folder>/<Azureus folder>/<Azureus file> (Permission denied), open fails (allocateFiles new:/mnt/<my folder>/<Azureus folder>/<Azureus file>)

I have already ensured that "Enable incremental file creation" is checked. What should I do to allow Azureus to write to this the Windows share?

Run 'strace -f -o ~/azureus.strace azureus'. What exact system call ends with 'Permission denied'?

I am sorry for the delay in responding - I was away for the past few days. When I run strace, I get the following error -

[GUI] StartServer ERROR: unable to bind to 127.0.0.1:6880 listening for passed torrent info: Address already in use
StartSocket: passing startup args to already-running Azureus java process listening on [127.0.0.1: 6880]

After printing this message, the program exits. Am I doing something wrong?

I hope it is not running in parallel with another Azureus copy? What is in azureus.strace?
