automating X window movement

hi
I'm using recordmydesktop to record video, and would like to be abole to program a certain X window going across the recordmydesktop screen, at a a certin speed and at a certain direction.

Does the X Window system allow this, does anybody know of a certain program that does it?

I'm looking at X Automation tools right now, but I'm not sure if it will allow programmable movement .. any other ideas?
