Automatically Launch apps. with Fluxbox

Hey Fluxbox folks,

Is there a way to retain the windows and previous session environment when you log out from FluxBox. As an example, say that i have two internet browser windows, and an IRC client open, and when i log back in, i want the session to be conserved. I've roamed through many threads and docs, including the fluxbox docbook but found nothing really useful to answer this question. Thanks.

well you can add the things you want to launch to your .xinitrc file and put a & character at the end of each line to execute all items..
a very broad example would be:
xchat &
mozilla &
exec fluxbox
i don't know if it is possible to actually launch the browsers with the most recent page you were at or not, but thats a start for you can at least launch stuff at startup...
as of the irc client, you will just have to put a startup script in it to execute upon startup, for all the channels you previously were in will be joined everytime you execute the client...
