Audio CD Player

I have problems using KsCD. Sometimes it gives an error "error getting freedb entry". I got this fixed, and it appears to play, but no sound comes out. However, this is not the case with XMMS. I've downloaded Amarok as an alternative, but I can't let it play CDs. How do I let Amarok play Audio CDs by default instead of KsCD?

Your problem maybe muted sound. Ususally KsCD has the volume muted, you need to look for the volume bar and turn it up and the level you set it at will then be the default.
