Are Sylpheed inboxes portable? [SOLVED]

I'm normally running Gentoo these days, but I'm starting to test out FreeBSD on a second hard drive. My question:

Can I just copy over the Gentoo-Sylpheed inbox to my new FreeBSD installation, use it for a while, and then copy it back to my Gentoo installation when I want to go back there?

I know Sylpheed is compatible between Gentoo and FreeBSD; my question is more about the portability of the inbox (and account info, as well, I suppose).

Thanks.

If you copy your $HOME/.sylpheed-2.0 directory as well, you'll have no problems whatsoever, it'll just keep on working like always. Also, it's possible to copy only your email directory over and create a new account to use that directory. Sylpheed is pretty smart about that sort of thing.

Thanks, taylor_venable. I did as you suggested, and it's working just fine. The only trouble I ran into was that I had to fix permissions on some key files (I stupidly didn't retain permissions when I copied over the directories).

It's nice to work with an app that is set up simply and logically like Sylpheed.
