Apache2 + mod_perl2

hi all
i´m trying configure apache2 and mod_perl2, but, when i type: apache2ctl stop
it returns:

Quote:
Syntax error on line 395 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf:
Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_perl.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_perl.so: undefined symbol: PL_ppaddr
does anybody know how fix it?

thanks a lot

Hi Juniox,

Okay, lets start with some additional infomation. What Distribution are you trying to do this with (including version number), and what are the packages or sources (with version numbers) you have installed from for apache2 and mod_perl2?

It sounds like mod_perl2 may depend upon some other module for its symbols. Have you googled the error?
Equally have you tried "ldd /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_perl.so"? You could be missing something like libperl.

Danny
