apache size of page issue

I develop my website on my laptop. If I look at the page on localhost (i.e. on my laptop) it displays as I made it (er, obviously). It is hosted by apache on out uni server (which I have some admin permissions on).

When I view the website hosted on that uni it come up smaller, i.e. on firefox I need to press ctrl_+ to view it in the size that I want it to be. This will happen if I load the browser from scratch look at the hosted site in one tab and the local version in the next one without any interfering or messing around.

How can this be happening and more importantly how can I make the version
hosted on the server come up the correct size?

Cheers.

Is this a "size of page" issue or a font size issue?

Size of page. Everything is scaled down by one zoom (CTRL_+). This is true of the images, the coloured <div>s that I use for styling the page etc.

Cheers

Ah, it doesn't happen in Safari, only Firefox. This is somehow a Firefox issue, I guess I am posting in the wrong forum.

Thanks anyway!
