Apache 2.0 Question

I have just installed Mandrake 9.1 and got my apache server up and running but I cannot get it to resolve outside of my LAN...I had Linux 7.2 installed before working w/out a hitch...is there something I am missing with my Linksys router? I have port forwarding turned on to the correct internal ip of my laptop which this is running on to an ip of 192.168.1.222 ...Is there some port forwarding option I have to turn on also on my Linux boxen?
***All httpd2.conf directives are definently set up properly as it resolves internally to localhost or internal ip of boxen***

*Server name in httpd2.conf file is set to external ip
HELP please
-Thx

Your trying to access the site via IP address right? The IP of the router like:

http://your.routers.ip.address

????????????????????
