Apache 2.0 Question


I have just installed Mandrake 9.1 and got my apache server up and running but I cannot get it to resolve outside of my LAN...I had Linux 7.2 installed before working w/out a hitch...is there something I am missing with my Linksys router? I have port forwarding turned on to the correct internal ip of my laptop which this is running on to an ip of 192.168.1.222 ...Is there some port forwarding option I have to turn on also on my Linux boxen?
***All httpd2.conf directives are definently set up properly as it resolves internally to localhost or internal ip of boxen***

*Server name in httpd2.conf file is set to external ip
HELP please

Do you have a firewall running?

nah no firewall is up iptables -L is all accept...on my Linksys WRT54G router and I have port forwarding set up to forward to the internal nated ip address of 192.168.1.222...

Your trying to access the site via IP address right? The IP of the router like:

http://your.routers.ip.address

????????????????????
