Apache 2.0.45 does not start


This is the error, I tryed to us the mod_perl 1.99 could anyone help. Thanks.


mod_perl-1.99_09]# perl Makefile.PL
!!! Unable to determine server version, aborting.
!!! Please specify MP_APXS or MP_AP_PREFIX.


Failed to start apache :

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 275 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_perl.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_perl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]

Your installation of mod_perl was somehow configured incorrectly. Did you specify a prefix for your Apache installation (ex. /usr/local/apache2) when you compiled mod_perl? The Makefile.PL script needs to know where to find Apache so it can create the Makefile for mod_perl.
