Are you willing to test docoll 0.7.4?

docoll is a GPL2+ licensed solution for organisations which have documents on multiple computers and want to collate them onto a server for text searching and download.

It is written in bash, Ruby and VBS. It uses Apache, Postgres, rsync and Xapian. End user access is by web browser. It is packaged as .tgz and .zip files and installs into its own directories so can easily be removed. root access is required for installation. After installation the server scripts run without special privileges.

It is intended to be easy to administer so has extensive documentation and logging. Feedback on the user friendliness of the documentation and logs would be especially welcome.
