Any programs that allow multiple encryptions? within encryted folders?

Im just wondering ive tried truecrypt and encfs ... but what I want to do is create an ecrypted folder and have other encrypted folders inside that encrypted folder each requiring its own password (and possibly encrypted with a different algorithm that the root dir). anyone find a way or know of a way to do this please post.

encfs? :)

It supports AES and blowfish, and there's nothing to stop
you from using a different cipher and a different password
for a directory inside an encfs one ...

Not that I think it makes much sense if the passphrase
for the top level one is good enough.

maybe im doing something wrong but I keep getting fuse errors while trying to create an encrypted dir within and encrypted dir using encfs saying not permitted. (and it defeats my purpose to do it as root).
Ive also tried creating an ecrypted dir and moving it to the already encrypted dir and mounting it from there ....no good.

You cant do it at least not by obvious methods...
the reason It makes sense is say you have a filesystem that stays mounted most of the time. and other users have access to that filesystem (its encrypted) maybe you want to limit access to certain areas of the filesystem with it still being encrypted in other areas...it makes sense.
