Question Any html editors or anyhitng thats like macro. fireworks?

Hey I used to do a little html, and I loved using macromedia fireworks to do the frames and do neat stuff with the images. Ive tried the gimp, eh its ok, i just prefer other things more. I recently switched to redhat9 solely because windows screwed me over, so i was wondering if there were any programs i can use to do what im trying to get done?

I don't have any ideas on what fireworks
does, nor how it does it. But for HTML
editing I'd recommend Quanta (Qt-appication
or Bluefish (GTK) if you like "graphically
enhanced" environments.

Otherwise I'd suggest emacs :} (I only
use emacs for HTML).

I'm not quite sure where the gimp comes
into the picture of HTML editors, though?
Gimp is a image manipulation tool, nothing
web-related, really.

Cheers,
Tink

Try the search feature here in the forum. This question was just asked about two days ago (probably not for the first time).

I'd also suggest using the search on the forums at DevShed.

Try looking for terms like 'html' and 'editor'. You'll be amazed what other people have already been saying about these things.

Enjoy!
