Am trying to get Linuxgym-live (2) in Vbox under fedora or mepis any suggestion

Enrolled on Linuxgym (freeish) but their download would not work on Mandriva 8 as Vmware is not compatible. Tried existing Virtualbox installation but it (gym) is set for Vmware. I am told there is a way of using Linuxgym on Vbox but am struggling to work out how.
Tried to download Vmware on Ubuntu but it would not install. Said Ubuntu has a working version of Vbox would this interfear with Vmware or are the pre-requisits just just different. Any help greatfully received.

Fred.
