All Around Linux Benchmark

Im interested in locating several Linux benchmarks that are easy to install and run, but do a job at either testign the RAM, CPU, Graphics, or overall performance... I need some benchmarks to compare several systems... So far I have got

Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo Benchmark
Ab Apache HTTP benchmark
hdparm -t

and a few others but am looking for a couple more to fully test the system and either feed back the number of megaflops, FPS, timings, speed or so on. Also, I have heard of glxgears benchmark but have been unable to locate that...

any help would be appreciated for Linux Fedora Core 3 (2.6.9) benchmarking (I am not specifically looking for burn-in utilities but benchmarks)

OR if you know of any programs or methods for recording your average frame rate or current framerate would be appreciated.... Simmilar to http://www.fraps.com/ benchmark.. if there is a simmilar program for linux

If you run glxgears from a terminal you can see your frame rate.
