After upgrade apache gives error or something HELP PLS!
HI ALL!
I used the slackware upgradepkg tool to install the latest version of apache. After upgrading, it said everything is done successfully, but now look:
root@Cuba:~# httpd -v
httpd: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.3.3' not found (required by httpd)
does this mean it needs also new version of some libraries? Im not very much into linux but that's what it seems. Shall I also upgrade the glibc library?

ALl the best,
Kaloyan!
You most likely downloaded and installed the apache package that was compiled with glibc-2.3.3... glibc can be a pain in the arse, I'd recommend grabbing the upgraded package for apache for your distro version instead which I'm guessing is 10.0
cd /var/log/packages
removepkg apache-<version-number-listed>
yea but how can I get that "upgraded package for apache for my distro" (maybe compiled with glibc 2.3.2?)
Yes its slackware 10.
I can see the glibc 2.3.3 package on slackware.com, so is it a good idea to remove the current apache, install the glibc 2.3.3 and then install the newest apache again?
How can I check which version of glibc I have? I think its 2.3.2

Thank you. I removed my old apache and installed the new one. The wrong thing was that I grabbed the -current apache package, and not for slack10. Didnt make difference. A lesson learned Thanks!
