After compiling new kernel


hello!

I compiled new kernel 2.6.7 on my slackware 9.1... but when i reboot with the new kernel, 2 sec after i chose in lilo the new one it says BIOS DATA CHECKING DONE (or something like that) and then reboots my system

what should i do?

did u update lilo for ur new kernel? that is probably the problem.
