Adept Installer Error Kubuntu 7.10

Hello.

I have recently installed Kubuntu 7.10 on my computer. And for the majority of installations I've tried so far using Adept, I get the error message.
Code:
There was an error commiting changes. Possibly there was a problem downloading some packages or the commit would break packages.
After I click "ok" to that warning message, the installation ends instantly (so I doubt it really finished) and then it says
Code:
Installation Complete!
Just as it would if everything had worked right. Then if I try to uninstall these same packages, the same thing happens for the uninstallation. Half way through I get the same message and then it's done. I can't figure out why this keeps happening. I used to have Kubuntu 7.4 installed and everything worked just fine. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

Have you seen this thread? I have all repositories enabled (and a few more) and I did get the same message once or twice, but everything seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.

Awesome. You're most welcome . This really appears to be Kubuntu related. I've just installed Ubuntu in another machine, no problems at all. Now it is time to try Edubuntu

Best Regards!

Oh but just to let you know, I didn't get it working by enabling all the repositories. I actually didn't try that. I did
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install
sudo dpkg --configure -a
as was suggested farther down the link you gave me. And that got everything working right. But yah, thanks again.
