Add ' Restart X Server ' option to kdm

What is the line I need to add to create the ' Restart X Server ' option in the pulldown tab in the KDM login manager. I believe it goes in the kdmrc file.

Thanks for all your help and time.

yes that would work but what I am after is in the KDM login manager screen. There can be an option to ' Restart X Server '. I had it before changing my harddrive in my notebook. Just ended up doing a clean install to it. Haven't done a clean install on it for over 2 years. The orginal install was Redhat 9 and had the option for it in the pull down window. Upgraded the distro over the years to current fc3 plus pieces from suse, mandrake, slackware, and this and that. Just ended up installing fc3 and seeing what problems everyone had from doing a clean install. Distro has really changed over the years. But just wanted to put that option back in the KDM pull down menu.

Thanks again for your help

Yes the default is gdm. I have changed it to kdm. Easy fix to do. I just can't remember or find the info I need to add the ' Restart X Server ' option in the kdm pull down menu. I will keep searching. If anyone has the option in thier KDM Login manager, I just need to see thier kdmrc file.

Thanks to all for the help.

Finally figured out what I needed to add ' Restart X Server ' to kdm.
And the answer is: Edit kdmrc file and in the section called: [X-:*-Greeter]
Add this line ' AllowClose=true '

I knew it did not make sense as to what it did or means.

Again thanks to all for the help.
