activation windows xp media center

hi all,
i hope my question is allowed in this forum!
i downloded a copy of windows xp media center edition , i did not activate the product key, and after 60 days i can not log in to my computer. how can i purchase the product key and re-enter to my computer as usual. formatting is not option. i need the data in my computer
