Acrobat 8 out of memory errors!

I have been updating all of my machines from FC4/5/6 to CentOS 5 with good results, but a few quirks. I installed acrobat 8, and I have some complaints from a few users about instability. I checked my logs and it seems that something in adobe is causeing out of memory errors. What could this be? I don't even know where to start.

I suppose I wasn't explicite enough. Adobe is the problem. Uninstalling it isn't a solution.
