aclocal-1.6 not found when compiling Quanta

Hi,
I'm trying to compile an HTML editor called Quanta. I got the ./configure command to work correctly, but when I try the "make" command, it gives me the following error:

"WARNING: 'aclocal-1.6' is needed, and you do not seem to have it handy on your system. You might have modified some files without having the proper tools for further handling them. Check the 'README' file, it often tells you about the needed prerequisites for installing ths package. You may also peek at any GNU archive site, in case some other package would contain this missing 'aclocal-1.6' program."

I have tried downloading and installing a copy of aclocal-1.6 to usr/share (where aclocal-1.9 was), and I looked at the readme which does not mention anything about this error message or exactly what the prerequisites are.

I had a problem similar like yours. I installed the 'automake' package. It has aclocal inside.

Hope it is helpful.

It appears that automake is already installed - it came with my version of SUSE Linux 9.3. But I think it includes the wrong version of aclocal. Is there an RPM package somewhere that I can download that has the aclocal 1.9 with it?

Thanks,
Matt
