a terminal emulator that allows definitions of hex colors?

hey there.... i'm looking for a terminal emulator that accepts hex color codes for it's foreground and background. i know xterm doesn't and nor does the rxvt variants (aterm, et al.) if you know of one let me know.

EDIT: Gnome-terminal and Konsole are not options.

I think rxvt/aterm supports this feature, but you need to specify the color like "#ffaabb". at least mrxvt behave in this way.

I use rXVT with
Code:
rxvt -font 10x20 -bg "#336699" -fg "white"
- this is nice, especially since my eyes are... not what they should/could be.
Is there a way to add context coloring to this - different colors for directories, perhaps packaged files?
