A quick question about package searching

So ive been sitting here, drinking and thinking, and i thought for nostalgias sake i would revisit The Incredible Machine. Since im lazy i thought id check apt first.

The following is what transpired
Code:
fukawi1@fukawi1 ~ $ apt-cache search incredible
raincat - 2D puzzle game featuring a fuzzy little cat
raincat-data - 2D puzzle game featuring a fuzzy little cat
raincat-dbg - 2D puzzle game featuring a fuzzy little cat - debug
Im certain im not the only person to notice the complete lack of the searched term in the results given.

It doesnt matter what package, package manager, or distro, this seams to be a recurring "feature" of package managers *nix wide...

WTFF?!?!?!?!

Code:
$ apt-cache show raincat
Package: raincat
Priority: optional
Section: games
#...
Description: 2D puzzle game featuring a fuzzy little cat
Raincat is a 2d puzzle game similar to the Incredible Machine and Lemmings
series. Your goal is simple: guide the cat safe and dry to the end of each
level. Just mind the rain, puddles, and loose fire hydrants in your path!

If you want to search only package names, use -n. man apt-cache:

Code:
search regex [ regex ... ]
search performs a full text search on all available package lists for the POSIX regex
pattern given, see regex(7). It searches the package names and the descriptions for an
occurrence of the regular expression and prints out the package name and the short
description, including virtual package names. If --full is given then output identical
to show is produced for each matched package, and if --names-only is given then the
long description is not searched, only the package name is.
