a program to record audio input


I have a program for windoze that records audio input from my scanner and records it . I was wandering if anybody new of a similar program thanks

I'm sorry to ruin your 0 posts, but do you really mean audio input from your image scanner? Or do you mean from a scanner, as in police scanner?

How does it connect to your PC would help

like a police scanner it conects through the audio in conector in the back of my computer and in the speaker conector in my scanner

Sure, any audio input recording program would work. grecord, krec, :
http://freshmeat.net/search?q=audio+input+record

Just make sure you choose line-in as your input for whichever app you choose to use. Then, open up a mixer, choose to record from your line-in, mute your other input(s) such as mic, and record.
